1. Material Selection and Preparation

Material Selection: The production of brushes and brush rolls primarily depends on the selection of high-quality raw materials. This mainly includes brush hair materials (such as nylon, polyester fibers, hog bristles, horsehair, synthetic silk, etc., different hardness and wear resistance materials are chosen according to the different uses) and brush handle/shaft materials (metals like stainless steel, aluminum alloy, or plastics like ABS, PP, etc., considering strength, corrosion resistance, and cost).

Preparation Steps: Inspect the selected raw materials to ensure they are free from impurities and damage, and cut them into appropriate lengths or shapes according to the design requirements. For brush hair, pre-treatment is also required, such as cleaning and drying, to remove grease and impurities, and to enhance the adhesive effect.

2. Slurry Preparation and Gluing

Slurry Preparation: If natural hair is used or if the adhesion of the brush hair needs to be enhanced, a special adhesive (such as polyurethane glue, epoxy resin, etc.) can be prepared, and the adhesive slurry is formulated according to the manufacturer’s formula to be suitable.

Gluing: Immerse the prepared brush hair into the adhesive slurry, ensuring that each strand of hair is evenly coated with glue. The gluing time and depth need to be precisely controlled to ensure the adhesion strength and durability of the brush hair. After that, moderate drying is carried out to remove excess glue and avoid affecting subsequent processing.

3. Brush Handle/Shaft Processing

Processing Preparation: According to the design requirements, use equipment such as CNC machines, lathes, or milling machines to precisely process the brush handle/shaft, including drilling, tapping, turning, and other processes, to ensure the connection part is precisely sized to match the brush hair.

Surface Treatment: Clean, rust removal, painting, or electroplating and other surface treatments are carried out on the processed brush handle/shaft to improve aesthetics and corrosion resistance.

4. Hair Planting and Winding

Hair Planting: Use a special hair planting machine to implant the glued brush hair into the reserved holes or fixed positions on the brush handle/shaft according to the design pattern and density, ensuring that the brush hair is neatly and tightly arranged.

Winding: For some special types of brush rolls, such as spiral wound types, the brush hair strips need to be wound on the core shaft at a certain angle and density, and fixed with glue or mechanical methods to ensure the roll body is sturdy and durable.

5. Subsequent Treatment and Trimming

Curing Treatment: Carry out heat curing treatment on the hair-planted or wound brush to fully cure the glue and enhance the binding force between the brush hair and the brush handle/shaft.

Trimming and Shaping: Use scissors, grinding wheels, and other tools to trim and shape the brush hair to ensure the brush surface is flat, without messy hair strands, and meets the design requirements.

6. Quality Control and Inspection

Quality Inspection: Conduct multiple inspections on the finished brushes, including appearance inspection (no damage, no burrs), size accuracy inspection, strength testing (such as tensile strength, wear resistance test), cleanliness inspection, etc., to ensure the product quality meets the standards.

Sampling Inspection: Conduct regular sampling inspections, analyze the reasons for non-conforming products, and take measures to improve to ensure stable product quality.

7. Packaging and Labeling

Packaging: According to customer needs and transportation requirements, use appropriate packaging materials (such as cardboard boxes, wooden boxes, plastic bags) to package the finished products to prevent damage during transportation and storage.

Labeling: Clearly mark the product name, specifications, production date, manufacturer, usage instructions, and precautions on the packaging for easy user identification and use.

8. Applications and Applicable Industries

Application Fields: Brushes and brush rolls are widely used in industrial cleaning (such as food processing, automotive manufacturing, glass cleaning), painting equipment (such as pre-treatment before spraying, polishing and grinding), textile printing and dyeing (such as fabric finishing, printing), household cleaning (such as toothbrushes, floor brushes), and other fields.

Applicable Industries: It covers almost all industries that require cleaning, decontamination, polishing, or coating treatment, and its diversity and customization features enable it to meet the special needs of different industries.
